UPDATE 2: added third set (bottom row) after some more comments - closed up the left wall and made ';photography' bold.

UPDATE: added second set (middle row) after some comments

-------------------------------

comment please.

to be use on my business card, website and document headers.

only prob is that i prefer 'tiff' to 'tiffany' but compositionally, i couldn't find a way for it to work. but i guess it doesn't really matter?

Definitely faved! It's really great, simple and elegant! =D

But yeah, the second one.

The first one is great, but it's too generic I think. It could be anything.

Don't look at my photos, they suck.

really excellent. i like the 3rd one best, with the word ';photography' in it

i like the way you have separated the lines from the T. I would like to see an example with the gap not so big though. And maybe closing the gap altogether on the right side of the T.
And I have tried to look at it it, leave it for an hour and come back, but the C still sometimes looks like a G.

For me lower-case "d", not "G"; anyway not "C". Apart from this, I prefer bottom row, with gaps. Perhaps you can use all three versions depending on how much details will be possible in any particular conditions.

A few hints, perhaps false:

- try putting "iffany" a bit higher
- try bolder font for "photography" - same size as it is, but as bold as "iffany"; if it doesn't do, just drop this version
- try adding character space to both "iffany" and "hin" to line up ending of the former a beginning of the latter

Having all this said - it's great design, I'm really impressed.

And don't forget about kerning: I-F vs. F-A.

Like where you are going, logos can be annoying as hell to get right :)

my 2c = "Tiffany", I get, but "Chin" I read as "Hin" - the C just doesn't want to be a part of it :)

does it read the same for you?
:iconruckyboy:
News just in...

my work colleague says he reads the second row as L T D

:D
:icontiffchin:
that the thing. everyone's seeing diff things in it. and i've been changing the design around to make it more obvious but everyone's brain is wired differently. aesthetically, which do you prefer? because chances are, whoever ends up with my card, or a letter head the logo or on my website will know my name anyway. so in the end, it's about the design. btw, a few people were reading the 'T' as 'I.'
:icontiffchin:
gah... am frustrated at how differently everyone sees it. like i explained to pete, in the end, i don't think it matters as anyone who sees the logo will already know my name (either introduced by myself, a mutual contact, or my web address). aesthetically, which set do you prefer?
